CBSE will be conducting the Eleventh All India Engineering/Architecture Entrance Examination (AIEEE), Offline Examination on 29th April, 2012 (Sunday) and Online Examination for B.E./.B.Tech. only from 7th May to 26th May, 2012 for admission to degree level courses in Engineering and Architecture in National Institute of Technologies (NITs), Indian Institute of Information Technologies (IIITs), Centrally funded Institutions, Deemed Universities and Institutions in States/UTs (Other than those covered by Joint Entrance Examination) State Level Entrance Examination. List of participated Institutions in CCB (AIEEE 2011) counseling will be available on Central Counseling Board (CCB) website www.ccb.nic.in .


Candidates submitting applications online are required:
  • To retain a photocopy of Confirmation Page with Registration No. and Copy of mode of remittance of Examination fee:Note - In addition to Examinations Fee, Service/Processing Charges will have to be paid by the candidates.For online submission of application with payment through Credit Card/Debit card …… 2%of the examination fee plus service tax as applicable.



Last Date:
The last date for Online Registration is 31.12.2011, however receipt of confirmation page duly completed in CBSE will be 05.01.2012 by Registered/Speed Post only and not in person/courier. Use of address of any coaching institute is strictly prohibited. If anybody uses the address of any coaching institute his/her application form i.e. confirmation page will be rejected.

NOTE : Candidates appearing for B.E./B.Tech or B.Arch/B. Planning or both BE/B.Tech and B.Arch/B.Planning together should send their fee either through Debit/Credit Cards or in the form of Demand Draft in favour of SECRETARY, CBSE PAYABLE AT DELHI/NEW DELHI only. Demand draft payable other than Delhi/New Delhi will not be accepted and their candidature will be rejected.

examination to the centre superintendent on the date of the TET examination. Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test 2012


JNV Selection Test for admission to Class-VI in JNVs for the academic session 2012-13 will be held as per following schedule. The last date for submission of Application Form in BEO’s Office is 31-10-2011 (Monday).
  • On Sunday, the 12th February, 2012 at 9.30 A.M. in the State of Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, West Bengal (except Darjeeling) Chhattisgarh, Goa, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh (except Chamba, Kinnaur, Mandi, Sirmour, Kullu, Lahaul & Spiti and Shimla Districts), Jharkhand, Kerala, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Manipur, Orissa, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal, Delhi, Arunachal Pradesh (except Tawang District), Union Territories of Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Chandigarh, Dadar & Nagar Haveli, Daman & Diu, Lakshadweep and Pondicherry .
  • On Saturday 14th April, 2012 9.30 A.M. in the States of Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim ,Jammu and Kashmir (except Leh & Kargil) and in the District of Tawang of Arunachal Pradesh, in the Districts of Chamba, Sirmour, Kullu, Kinnaur, Mandi, Shimla of Himachal Pradesh, in the District of Darjeeling District of West Bengal.
  • On Sunday 10th June, 2012 9.30 A.M. in the Districts of Leh, Kargil of J&K State and in the District of Lahaul & Spiti of Himachal Pradesh State.

2. HOW TO APPLY FOR JNV SELECTION TEST

2.1 How to get an Application Form?

Application forms for admission may be made on the prescribed Application Form (attached with the prospectus) available free of cost from:

  • Block Education Officer (BEO)
  • District Education Officer (DEO)
  • Headmaster of any Govt. / Govt. aided / Recognized Accredited Institute / Centre of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan / NIOS where he/she is studying.
  • Principal, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya.

In case of non-availability of JNVST prescribed Application Form from the above, you may copy the format of Application Form on plain paper (preferably 21cm x 30cm) from our website at the address http://www.navodaya.nic.in or the newspaper advertisement and apply on it.

2.2 How to submit an Application Form?

Duly filled in application form must reach the Block Education Officer latest by 31st October 2011. It shall be signed by the Head of the recognized school/Special Education Scheme (Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan) where the child is studying in Class-V, on or before 31st October 2011 (Candidates are advised to get the acknowledgement from the BEO at the time of submission of Application Form).

2.3 Issue of Admit Cards

Admit Cards, duly prepared by the Principal, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya will be issued to the candidates through the office of the Block Education Officer. Candidates, who do not receive their Admit cards one week before the JNVST, they should immediately contact to Principal, JNV/BEO/DEO for the same.

2.4 Result of the Selection Test

The result of JNVST 2012 is expected to be announced by end of May of the year of admission. The result will be displayed in the offices of the concerned (i) Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (ii) District Education Officer (iii) District Magistrate (iv) Deputy Commissioner, Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti of the Region. The Principal, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya concerned, will also inform the selected candidates through registered post. UPTET 2011 Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test in November 2011

UPTET will be conducted in first week of November 2011 for filling up more than 80,000 teacher vacancy in Uttar Pradesh. The Syllabus, exam pattern, Sample Papers, and detailed notification for UPTET 2011 will be made available by third week of September 2011 in all leading news papers and UP education website.

Application Form of Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test – Notification will be issued in third week of September. UPTET 2011 Sample Papers will be available at the official website of UPTET.

Under the Right to Education Act, Board of High School and Intermediate Education Uttar Pradesh, Allahabad is going to organise UP Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET 2011) for the recruitment of Teachers in Primary and Secondary Schools. UPTET 2011 will be organized in the month of November, 2011.

UPTET will be organise for the recruitment of 80,000 on the vacant posts in Uttar Pradesh. Uttar Pradesh Government insturcted and ordered President & Secratary of Board of High School and Intermediate Education Uttar Pradesh (UP Board) to organise the UPTET in the month of November, on Wednesday (07/09/2011). Candidates who will qualify the TET will be eligible for the recruitment in the Primary and Secondary Schools of state, working under State Government/Basic Education Board/Secondary Education Board/National Education Board.Educational Qualification for UPTET 2011 :-

  • For Class I to V :- 10+2 or its equivalent with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education or 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed.) OR 1 year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.).
  • For Class VI to VIII :- Graduate in any stream (B.A., B.Sc., B.Com, BCA) with 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (BTC/CT – Nursery) OR 2 years Nursery Teacher Training OR Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.).

UPTET 2011 Syllabus : There will be five Subjects / Sections in Paper I. There will be 30 objective multiple choice type questions in each section and they will carry one mark each. Duration of the exam is 90 minutes for each paper. Following are the subjects in Paper I:

  1. Child development and pedagogy
  2. Language I
  3. Language II (Must be other than Language I)
  4. Mathematics
  5. Environmental studies

Nature of the Question papers and weightage for TET in various states differ according to their requirements. The qualification of UPTET is mandatory for those candidates aspiring to become teachers in the state of Uttar Pradesh.

Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET 2011) Application Form Cost :- Rs. 500/- for General and OBC Candidates, Rs. 250/- for SC/ST Candidates, NIL for Physically Handicapped Candidates (Examination Fee Includes in Cost of Application Form).How to Apply for UPTET 2011 :- Candidates can obtian (buy) Information Bulletin/Brouchers and Application Form of UPTET 2011 from the Scheduled Banks and Head Post Offices of the State. After holding the application form read it carefully and fill the application form as per instructions. Submit filled Application Form to the same Bank or Post Office from where you had buy the application form with in 15 days from the date of issuance of UPTET 2011 Notification.

Passing Marks for UPTET Certificate and Validity Period of TET Certificate/Mark Sheet :-
In UPTET 2011, as per NCTE guidelines, Candidates who secure the minimum 60% marks will be declared pass in UPTET 2011 (55% for SC/ST/PH candidates) and awarded TET Certificate. Marks secured in TET exam will given wait-age in the Government’s Teacher Recruitment in the Uttar Pradesh.

Candidates who will successfully qualify UPTET 2011 with minimum qualifying marks will awarded with TET Certificate. UPTET Certificate shall be valid for a period of 5 years. A person who has qualified UPTET may also appear again for improvement in score. A person can take for acquiring a TET Certificate, because there will be no restriction on the number of attempts, so any one who wants to reappear can apply how many times he/she wants.
